Terms of Service

These terms govern your company's use of RosterProject. Last updated 12 July 2026.

1. Who we are

RosterProject is operated by Kindleye Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Business Registration 79777743, 26 Square Street, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong) — "RosterProject", "we", "us". By creating a workspace or using the service you agree to these terms on behalf of the company you represent (the "Customer", "you").

2. The service

RosterProject generates and manages staff rosters for hospitality teams: you describe your outlets, staff, rules, and expected demand, and the service produces rosters you review, edit, and publish. Staff members can view their shifts and request days off through personal links you share with them.

3. Accounts and workspaces

4. Trial, fees, and payment

5. If a trial or subscription ends

Your workspace becomes read-only: you and your staff can still view, print, and export everything, but new rosters and changes require an active subscription. We do not delete your data when a subscription lapses.

6. Your data

Workspace data — staff details, rosters, rules, everything you put in — belongs to you. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these terms. You can export your data at any time from the dashboard. On termination we delete workspace data on request within 30 days.

7. Your responsibilities as employer

RosterProject is a decision-support tool. It applies the rules you configure — including rest-day and working-hours rules — but you remain solely responsible, as the employer, for every roster you publish and for compliance with employment law, contracts, and collective agreements that apply to your team. Always review a generated roster before publishing it.

8. Acceptable use

Use the service lawfully and only for managing your own organisation's rostering. Don't attempt to breach or probe the service's security, access another customer's data, resell the service, or reverse engineer it.

9. Availability

We work to keep RosterProject available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted service; maintenance and factors beyond our control can cause downtime. Published rosters remain viewable by staff via their links, and we recommend printing or exporting business-critical rosters.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: our total liability arising out of or related to the service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost business). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law.

11. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time (effective at the end of the paid period) or delete your workspace entirely. We may suspend or terminate the service for material breach of these terms or non-payment — moving a workspace to read-only first wherever reasonable.

12. Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms we'll notify workspace owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
